The Waikeria Prison Development (WPD) is a Private-Public Partnership (PPP) project delivering a new high security, 500 prisoner accommodation facility with an additional 100 bed enhanced mental health facility.

The $1 billion dollar project consists of over 30 individual buildings adjacent a live prison.
