ECS provides a full range of construction management and financial and specialist services. We can act as the main contractor for your development project, provide financial institution services or assist with finance applications.

Less involved services may include insurance replacement cost estimates or more specialist services, such as engineer-to-contract or dispute mediation. Our wide range of services, outside the typical scope of project management and quantity surveying, solidifies our position as the 'one-stop-shop' for your development project.

MAIN CONTRACTOR ASSISTANCE

ECS have worked for a number of large, established Main Contractors across the Waikato and Auckland regions to provide a variety of support services at key stages in the management of various projects.

Our services have included assisting in the preparation of tender documents, reviewing and reporting on methodology and buildability strategies, leading the procurement process, assistance and advice on variation claims and providing a range of additional managerial staff to support existing resources.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

ECS can act as the Construction Manager for your project. We have undertaken multi-million dollar projects on this basis, saving the Client substantial amounts by reducing the Main Contractor's preliminary and general costs and margin.

This service can be combined with our Project Management and Quantity Surveying services to provide a 'one-stop-shop' for your development project.

Finance Application Documentation

ECS can assist you and your company's finance department through the minefield of stipulations generally required by funding institutions. We have valued and long-standing relationships with property finance brokers, whom we can recommend and work with to ensure you can achieve your finance at competitive rates.

We will ensure that your document looks good and contains the required information to enable the funding institutions to provide their 'letter of offer' for financing your project. We will also work to ensure that the development budgets are adequate and will withstand the scrutiny of third parties, thus providing 'no surprises' for you moving forward.

We will also be available to answer any questions raised and are willing to help deliver the application on your behalf.

Insurance Replacement Cost Estimates

ECS provides insurance replacement cost estimates, which insurers now highly recommend, to give building owners peace of mind that their properties are adequately insured in the event of a rebuild claim.

We work to provide up-to-date advice, utilising current-day market rates while advising on potential cost escalation allowances established at the time of estimate. We provide this service for both residential and commercial properties.

ECS has a substantial track record in providing these estimates, resulting from an intensive commission in Christchurch following the devastating 2010 and 2011 earthquakes.
