After an inception period over a number of years, which included the Covid era, the Te Awamutu Presbyterian Church has worked with their congregation and local community to fundraise for the development of a purpose built community centre. This will replace the previous building on the site, which was demolished back in 2015.

Incorporating an auditorium, large entry/foyer space, commercial kitchen, flexible function and seminar rooms, counselling spaces, play area and offices, the new spaces will be available for use and hire by the community seven days a week. Church services will also be held in the auditorium along with weddings and funerals.

ECS are engaged to provide Client QS services, following the appointment of a design and build contractor. We are engaged to provide advice on the main contractors offer, contract conditions and certification of monthly progress claims. We also provide variation management and overall cost reporting for our Client.
