The International occupies a 2,500m2 site located on the ridgetop of 9 Princess Street overlooking the surrounding cityscape and harbour. Previously home to Fonterra, the building is in the process of being stripped to its frame and ‘squared off’ to create larger floor plates with fully enclosed conservatories to each high-end apartment on every floor. The entire building will be enveloped with a geometrically-designed exoskeleton with seismic-upgrade properties.
The International is a high-end conversion of an existing office tower into a mixed-use development with ground level retail/food and beverage and residential units above. The project will consist of 81 one, two and three bedroom units, 9 penthouse units, 125 car parks and various onsite amenities which include a pool, gym, cafe and residents lounge, library, cinema, wine cellar and private dining room, beauty salon and retail space.
