Ranfurly House is a Heritage building located in Mt Albert, Auckland. It forms the heart of the Rafurly Retirement Village. The village was built to house war veterans. Upon taking possession of the Ranfurly site from the Patriotic and Canteen Funds Board in 2002 the newly established Ranfurly Trust Board recognised the need to redevelop the aging facilities with a long-term view of what would be required to meet the needs of Veterans when, inevitably, the World War II generation passed on. Retirement apartments would be built around the perimeter of Ranfurly House which would be refurbished to function as a village community centre on the ground floor and as a Veterans’ Support Centre upstairs. ECS is providing Cost Management services to Ranfurly Village for the refurbishment and extension of Ranfurly House.
